Spring is just around the corner. It is the perfect time to rock an all-white outfit! I just cannot wait to put away all my winter gear and embrace the beautiful spring weather. The all white outfit is very effortless and chic. I like the intrinsic details of the semi-sheer embroidered floral lace sweatshirt. Pairing it with the loose fit asymmetric drape culottes adds movement to this outfit. Less is more. Sometimes you don't need to try so hard to look polished. I think this outfit is casual yet somewhat put together. Also, you can try to finish off this outfit with a pair of your favourite white sneakers.

Pairing this vibrant patchwork dress with a touch of fur is my take on the luxe boho trend. The key to master this outfit is to mix the textures by casually throwing the faux fur stole over the shoulders. I completed this ensemble with a fringed clutch in the same hues.

The double denim look has become one of the street style staples since there are so many ways to pair a denim on denim outfit and the options are endless. You almost cannot go wrong if you throw on different types of washes when putting together the Canadian Tuxedo look. I really miss those beautiful days when you can simply head out the door with a denim jacket and your favourite pair of off-duty ripped jeans. The other day I was thinking why not to wear leather on leather instead in this cold weather? Well, the idea might seem a bit intimidating at the beginning since the weight for both the top and bottom fabrics are equally heavy. Nonetheless, I think I would give it a shot.
I kept this outfit mostly monochrome. Also, instead of pairing leather pants or leggings, I opted for an embroidered leather skirt with eyelet detail to give this outfit a touch of feminine feel. The sharp biker jacket contrasted with the skirt in a way to balance out this look.

It's been freezing cold over the past weekend. Sometimes you have to brave the elements. A faux fur stole is one of the must-have pieces for your winter wardrobe. You can just simply throw it on over your coat or you can style it with a skinny belt.

Last December we went to Mexico for a week of much needed escape from the cold weather a.k.a. reality. To be honest, we spent a few days since the New Year to recover from the post-vacation blues. The palm tree heaven, salty breeze, warm sands, tacos, and tequila seemed not so far away.

Pinstripes have made a comeback in the past few seasons. Dark colours on pinstripes pattern and sleek tailoring will never go out of style quickly.
Here I paired pinstripes pattern head-to-toe. Combining the navy coat with the flowy dress, pinstripes pattern gave this look a powerful and androgynous feel. I layered the colour block pullover over the dress to add a bit of texture.
From menswear-inspired blazers to sophisticated and modern skirts, you can find pinstripes pattern which traditionally appear on menswear. The shift toward androgyny has been evolving lately as gender lines are blurring. A number of brands have tapped into the gender neutral trend. Will this
trend go mainstream? We will see. I think the beauty of fashion is its diversity.

Origami folding techniques are used in fashion industry and as seen on Issey Miyake, Chanel, and Junya Watanable, origami detail is continually evolving and it is one of the key trends for Fall/Winter 2015-2016. Sometimes the runway trends can be difficult to work into our everyday wardrobes; here I'm showing you how to rock this trend with totally wearable pieces without feeling overwhelmed.
I'm wearing the A-line dress with origami detail and the origami inspired coat with oversized silhouette from Jiaxin Xu's Fall 2015 collection. Jiaxin Xu showcased her collection during World MasterCard Fashion Week this past October. I'm obsessed with her collections as she incorporated origami folds into her design which adds three-dimensional texture to the garments.
To complete this ensemble, I'm carrying a mini bag with pompom which adds a pop of colour to the neutral outfit. This ultra-tiny bag is super chic and yet functional since it fits my daily essentials. The bag is from Strathberry and their MC Nano bag has made it on to Vogue Magazine's official It Bag list.
